Evolution

                                                               Evolution
I was glad when the Catholic church accepted evolution, they also accepted radio, TV and the internet. We all must evolve - science is not in conflict with religion as some may think. Philosophy, Psychology, Anthropology and Religion all are important in evolution. If we look at the history of man from the old testament to the new testament and all the other history books we are evolving. Some refuse to accept the theory of evolution , Yet - we go to church to learn how to evolve or become a better person.

The nature of man is to evolve , we are continuing to eat from the Tree of Knowledge. To me the Tree of Knowledge is science or evolution, a tree that is constantly growing. The Tree of Life is becoming spiritual or learning of the divine and holiness. My views may differ from others but that is why we are unique and I still love and accept others - even more so that they are unique.

We look at Jesus who was a new testament to faith and divine. Most will accept that Jesus was both human and divine. This is one of the basic principles of my faith - that Jesus was both human and divine. Some will say Jesus was only human and can only relate to his humanity. Some say Jesus was only divine that he was God, and can only relate to his divinity. Jesus was tempted and had to deny satan just as all of us do. This may be strange to someone with just a scientific view but not to me. We all have a reptilian nature in our consciousness that must be denied to evolve. So, to me the scientist that does not have Christ will never evolve. That scientist can teach evolution as a human but may not evolve spiritually  beyond human nature. We need both science and religion, it is the Christ an example of whom we are to follow. Some will say they will follow a Buddha or Krishna or a Guru to evolve - and it may seem that different roads lead to the same place, honestly if you to reach a dead end -follow Jesus.

The only difference being a living stone in time I accept we are all unique in faith and character. That permits me to love the Jew, the Muslim, the Hindu, the Pagan, the Scientist, the Atheist, the Native American, the Aboriginal and anyone else. I do not speak for any of these groups , nether do I propose to be an expert on them , I can only speak for my love. My Lord gave his life for all. Even when Jesus was crucified and died he said" Forgive them for they know what not they do."

It was religion that crucified Christ not science. The Sanhedrin was the religious authority of that time , they demanded he be put to death. If someone said even today they had a human and divine nature , you would probably be crucified by a religious person. No different than the Sanhedrin of Jesus time.
Honestly, it is more important to me to grow in holiness and love than anything else. We must become love and we must become holy. This should be our goal how we get there is your call. I will follow Jesus.

Peace
Earl.

Eternal Life

                                               Eternal Life

The gift of eternal life is not something we wait for upon death. We should not be waiting for the knock on the door. Eternal life has already begun and needs to be lived moment by moment. Some will be waiting for Jesus to come, the second coming. It seems to be the main theme in evangelical christianity and the emotions up and down of this phenomena are enormous. Had a conversation with a few people and some of my friends will say he is coming soon (Jesus). This has been going on for 50 years and frankly, am not waiting for the knock on the door. God never left the planet, God's spirit is still alive. Christ is with me and you already. Evolve, get beyond the emotional roller coaster and enjoy each moment in Christ.
When Paul was on the road to Damascus , Jesus came to him and said " Why dost thou persecute me".
Jesus was talking about the christians who are the body of christ. Even today I feel the spirit of God every single moment. Eternal life is a wonderful gift , start living it. We seem caught up in drama , everything has to be played out. I have a friend who is elderly who needs prayer, always worried about his stuff. Stuff is temporary - we cannot take it with us. Like the ancient Pharaohs that had a lot of stuff here on earth. They tried to pack as much as they could into the coffin and grave, they even built massive pyramids to hold it all for eternity. Sorry - to disappoint but the stuff is now in a museum.

Praise God! Live each moment.

Peace.

Sacred Places

                                               Sacred Places
On our beautiful planet Earth we often think that sacred places are in a building. True one can create a mindset in which to receive light anywhere and sometimes the glitter of gold or decorated altar will have an effect. There are several parks and places in the world known as sacred places or placid places. In my travels have been to a few of these. The natural and majestic beauty of mountains or coral reefs , the waterfalls are just a few characteristics of a sacred place. In Alberta, Canada it was the majestic Canadian Rockies, in Hawaii it was the snow capped peak of Mauna Kea. They exist in every continent and they seem to bring one close to God.

Often people will save up their life savings for a trip to Disney or to see a Temple in China or India. It may be an alternate to seek out a world Heritage location and go there. Even beyond the scenic views,
it is my belief there are gradient openings throughout the planet that one can feel spiritual presence. These are not man made cathedrals , perhaps a ice covered cavern with glistening walls or beneath a thundering waterfall. So many times we get caught up in life and stress can overcome someone. The best place to release that tension is a sacred place - a placid place.

When Moses talked to God , he went to the top of Mount Sinai not to a temple or building. Jesus went to the beautiful garden of Gethsemane. These were places that were natural in essence not built by man.

Take the time, plan a trip to a sacred place.

Peace.

The Sphere

                                                      The Sphere
When we think of planet Earth , we think of the sphere. The planet is not only round but it has a shape of the sphere. When one looks at a sphere they will see the circle from a distance as they draw near the circle will take on a dimensional shape of the sphere. The problem here is that we only see one side of the sphere even if we are close. The only way we get to see the other side is if we go around it or it rotates. We often hear a reference to the dark side of the moon, however it is only the other half of a sphere.

In the bible we see there is no corn or maize mentioned because it did not exist in that part of the world - Yet, corn is one of the main food staples in the Americas, north and south. Just because it is not mentioned in the bible does not mean something does not exist. In Australia there are kangaroos, koalas very amazing creatures but all we see in the bible are animals from the desert region or plains of the continent where they existed.

We should follow the anthropology, geographic and psyche of the entire planet to gain full spheric knowledge. That is why it is important to search the other half of the sphere to better understand Christ. We are told the bible contains what is necessary and accept this as a part of faith. How can we accept a two dimensional view in a multidimensional reality. Hundreds of years ago only select priest were even allowed to read the bible, the old testament bible itself was compiled of only the selected books from which the Sanhedrin council would allow. Yet - we know very little about this council except it was elected, it was the very convening council that accused Jesus of blasphemy and requested his execution.

I once met a priest in the Pacific Islands who had been a priest for over twenty years and we started to discuss the bible. Being on one of the most desolate places on the planet for a year in prayer and reading the bible many times thought we could have a discussion. The priest told me honestly he had never read the bible in its entirety. How many other clergy have never even read the bible - the fact is most have never read it entirely. They read only the verses selected by the particular denominational view , very few read it entirely to gain even spheric knowledge of the bible- yet alone the planet earth.

The mind that can see the full sphere , the planet earth, the dark side of the moon is the mind of Christ. The apostles that wrote the new testament not only relayed what they heard Jesus say, they wrote of their experience of Christ. Some of this varied slightly which depended on their relationship with Jesus and their own personality. In the book of John we see the revelatory view, it is revealing the true nature of Christ and his mission. In the book of Matthew we have a view of Christ teachings as a student from his master, more detail is given to the sermons. In Luke who was a doctor we have a viewpoint of the apostle of the human record, his birth and the people that were in his life. The four gospels of basic Christianity would not be complete without Mark. Mark was not a direct disciple as some may think, he was Peters son. Peter was considered the closest disciple and the account by Peter's son Mark was of the story of the life of the cross.

The books of the gospels are considered the main four books closest to apostolic views. The other books of the bible were mostly written by Paul of Tarsus who was a man that spent his life persecuting christians but was a convert. Paul became a believer after Christ revealed himself to Paul, why dost thou persecute me? Jesus spoke as if he was being persecuted because the Christ spirit dwells in the believer , this spiritual connection is something often missed. We that are of the Christ spirit are connected for eternity all stones in time. Jesus was connected to Moses and Elijah - all the prophets as shown in the transfiguration. Even today there are those who have a deep direct connection with Christ, similar to Paul meeting him on the road to Damascus.

In deciphering divine wisdom we should note that the Book of life, and the Book of Knowledge also referred to as the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge are mentioned in both sides of the Sphere.
They are mentioned in a few of the worlds religions in the east and west.

This is a great mystery recorded in the bible. It is my belief that these are trees and are constantly growing, as in the Book of Life new names are added. As in the Book of Knowledge it is growing as in evolution also called the Tree of Knowledge.

There will never be complete divine wisdom anyone who says their religion or system is complete is false. Like the Never Ending Story by Ende, ironic that the book is Never Ending Story and the authors name is Ende. The Book of Knowledge is never ending , it cannot be written, it is really a Tree! Evolution is sometimes thought of as non-biblical but personally believe it is what is being explained in the Tree of Knowledge. The planet evolves , we evolve, the universe evolves, new planets, new stars, new species.

Genesis 3:22 Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil.”

Peace.

Love Oath

                                                              Love Oath
I never did believe much in taking oaths or vows following a stint of eights years of military service and over thirty years of marriage. Being faithful serving honorably in both however an oath should not be taken lightly. Recently in deep meditation on the soul it would be my final oath , to become love. We often hear that God is love, or Krishna is love, or Allah is love or Jesus is love. People say Jesus loves you or God loves you and it stops there. It is not enough to say God loves you, how can we become love. We each must begin in the soul - take a journey into the soul.

Now there would be reason to say being a masculine man and a war veteran  had my share of battles in life, many times sparred in my younger days. It would seem to become love is quite a task. It is easy for a manly man to say their God is Love, or anyone to make that statement for that matter. It probably is the most profound truth. It is also truth after a journey into the soul , the soul must be love. We must become love at the soul level. We hear from fundamental theology the mission is to save souls, to save them from evil. This is so vaguely described as sin but sin itself seems to be under interpretation of the human or moral aspect or the law.

Ok, you just gave up an immoral conduct or bad habit which was a human endeavor. That is wonderful and you may become healthier body, mind and spirit. These are all of the deliverance of the flesh or human aspects. The divine aspect is taking the journey into the soul and to become love. Whether you are a christian, muslim, hindu, jew or a buddhist no matter what to become love should be the goal. When you wake up and look into the mirror in the morning say - I AM LOVE. This is the love oath not to be taken lightly. When you come to this realization and that oath is kept, everything else is small in comparison. God will not be angry, you will be filled with love. If you are a buddhist or philosopher and just want to end suffering make the effort to say the love oath.
This happened personally- in quite an unusual way during visits to hospitals visiting strangers often to pray or just talk. I always say God loves you, being an empath and a christian. The words did not always come out that way, sometimes unexpected it was I LOVE YOU. It made me feel awkward but in sincerity it was true, having a deep desire for healing to the point of expression. The soul is an image of God , including divine love. To understand this and to say - I am love , you will have stepped out of the  human conscious and into the kingdom of God. To those who may be agnostic or philosophers love is not the same as desire. Often misinterpreted we are not talking about desire of the flesh or human desire true love is pure, good and transfer of divine energy. You may just think in thought I love you and perhaps a hug or even a smile will convey this.

Peace.

The Soul

                                                The Soul
The mystery of the soul is sacred knowledge according to many religious authorities in Islam and in Hindu religions. According to the Sikh the soul is God and God is soul. The Catholic and the Orthodox view are slightly different but the soul is divine essence and the image of God.
Fundamental christian theology is interested in the salvation of the soul but has not clearly defined the soul. We have images of God and satan fighting over the soul with this theology. In most all the religious thinking the soul returns to God for judgement whether here and now or later. The soul is often mingled with the spirit, mind or body. It is written about by most major religions that have a believe in God but remains a mystery. Even the Jewish religion believes in a soul created during the six days of creation.
We see a lot of study of the mind, body and spirit but very little about the soul. Some say the soul is created upon the first breath of life, others the soul is eternal. It may be helpful to read the hebrew and greek translations as they both indicate soul is breath or life. The soul is often referred as the person or the I or identity. Some hindu gurus teach there is a duality in the soul of both human and divine. The catholic church teaches divine essence of the soul, the orthodox teach the possibility of immortality, Hindu and Islam teach the soul is eternal.
The whole precipice of religion resides in the soul. In my research of the soul have concluded that the belief of the soul is as varied as the belief of God, both sacred and mysterious. Also have concluded the Sikh are very close and the soul is the image of God within. To learn the wonders and mystery of the divine you must start with soul searching. The beginning of knowing is to know thyself.

Bethesda

                                                     Bethesda

There is a place in Jerusalem where there is a pool. People of all sorts of ailments would wait beside the pool for the water to move. It was said that occasionally an angel would pass by the waters and during this time healing would take place.

This is a spiritual truth that goes far beyond the pool at Bethesda. Moving water has an essence of spiritually that should be understood. My only experience with being a stone is that moving water is what forms the stone. If you go to a stream, or river or the ocean and look for a stone. Pick up the stone and hold it in your hand. Roll it around in your fingers and notice that it is unique formed by hundreds if not thousands of years by the moving water. Understanding this look at the water then look into your inner being. This is meditation that anyone can experience a beautiful meditation of the stone. The stone represents your unique qualities and it will help to understand that you are like the stone.

Bethesda is often used to represent missions for healing and many hospitals bear the name. It is a good example of moving water that promotes healing both physical and spiritual.
